Last Thursday was my birthday and I
turned 27! Damn, how I wish! It was my
40th.
For many years I get pretty squirrelly around
my birthday time!
It all began when I turned 25 and my
mom wished me a happy quarter of a century birthday!!! EEEEKKKK!! What
the hell?!?!? My own mother was telling
me that I was getting OLD!!
I was 25 married for 6 years, had
2 small kids and lived in NEW JERSEY! Thus the birthday anxiety and
depression of getting old.
From then on something always happened
near or around my "special day" making it--------- bad relationship
kept me from my fam, kids not knowing that it was my birthday, horrific car
accident, losing my job, this year was my dad and the list goes on and on! Now,
don’t get me wrong, I do like birthday presents, cake and birthday email
coupons for free stuff! I simply don’t
like the aging part or the sadness that surrounds it!
This
birthday was a tad different tho!
Friday my love was taking me to my birthday dinner, but it really turned out to be
A SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY thrown by my
love and best girlfriend!!
And, the party was
all for me!!
I don’t think that I have ever
felt so loved in my whole life as I did that night! It made me think that this is
what brides must feel like on their wedding day. I felt like I was floating on cloud nine. I smiled all night!!
It was so amazing and I am so very grateful
for my friends that took time out of their own busy lives to gift me with
beautiful memories!
Thank you again Greg & Jen for spending alot of time and
money on arranging the party for me. I really cannot find words adequate enough
to express my appreciation for the lovely surprise birthday party you guys gave
me and for
David, Helene, Dexter, Emily, Buddy, Kelly, Lina, Adina, Leigh,
Mike, Bijal, Ashley, Alyssa, Christina, Diane and Karl for celebrating with
me!
And you guys OH MY GOSH!! THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH FOR MY
PRESENTS!!!!! I so loved everything!! I was like a little kid opening up all my
goodies!! Teas, soaps, butterfly wax warmer, crystals, tiaras, coloring book
and pencils, Cabelas g.c, wine, wine glasses, ear buds, jump rope, bras!! I was sooo spoiled! XOXOXOXO
I also need to thank whomever that sent a beautiful wreath
to my house! There wasn’t a note or card
attached with it!!
I also owe all those that wished me a happy birthday on facebook a belated THANK YOU!
