Just a little catch up

Hi all!  Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving and found some outstanding
sales on black Friday & cyber Monday! My thanksgiving was typical for us
only this time it involved a frozen turkey. Yep, a frozen bird! Luckily I
showed up with a sweet potato and my own unfrozen turkey. What the hell
you ask?!?! I had convinced the family that we would deep fry the turkey
this year and I lugged my own so I could have it to eat and not share.
Which totally didn't happen :(
OH! And I lost my credit card so no shopping for me DOUBLE SAD FACE!!!
Also on thanksgiving morning I ran/walked my first 5k in months.
It felt pretty great even though I was in a lot of pain and had an
asthma attack halfway through. I was so thankful that my girlfriend was
there to help me and coach through it!

I wanted to give some updates on somethings.  I got the injections in my foot.
Painful as hell only worked for about 3 days, then the pain came back tenfold.
So still not rocking and to die for shoes! I also had to stop the Enbrel
injection because it caused pulmonary fibrosis (irreversible scare tissue
in the lungs making it difficult to breathe).  Also got more results
back from my upper GI - Barretts esophagus- that shit sounds all
made up! I'm still learning what it is but I do know that its a complication
of GERD and if its not treated can turn into esophageal cancer.
Ugh!  What the hell?!?!

Still finding my om with RA…………..
Peace, Love and Light to all!

I stumbled across one of my favorite poems to end my yoga class after shavasana and wanted to share it with you...

May I be well
May I be happy and content
May I be free from danger and suffering
May I be filled with loving-kindness

May you be well
May you be happy and content
May you be free from danger and suffering
May you be filled with loving-kindness

May all beings be well
May all beings be happy and content
May all beings be free from danger and suffering
May all beings be filled with loving-kindness
